Fashion designer offers percentage of racewear sales to charity

Who says that fashion cannot be healthy too?

Jordan Hewitt, local design label will be backing Ipswich Hospital Foundation for its upcoming Health Race Day by donating 5 per cent of their Race Day Wear sales to the cause.

Ipswich Hospital Foundation is holding a Health Race Day on Saturday, May 4 to help raise much needed funds.  The Foundation’s acting chief executive officer Ashton Greaves said the support of local business and community is key to the success of IHF events.

“We are so pleased to partner with Jordan Hewitt to style up one of our favourite events the Health Race Day featuring One Mile Gift,” Ms Greaves said.

“This is a great cause and Jordan Hewitt loves jumping in and helping out in this great community” Josephine Garner, director of Jordan Hewitt Co said.

Customers can come in and buy off the rack or have that special something made.

“To show that we believe we have backed a winner in IHF – we will extend the donation period through to the fabulous Ipswich Cup being held just across the road from our design studio.”

Ms Greaves said she was excited “Not only will your fashions be envied; you can feel great knowing your purchase between now and Ipswich Cup will contribute to enhancing research and technology supported patient care for the West Moreton Community.”

Jordan Hewitt is open to the public and is located along Bergins Hill Road at Bundamba.
