Ipswich Civic Centre keeping the whole family entertained this festive season

Theatre shows and a tribute to music icons The Bee Gees are among the incredible performances coming to Ipswich this November and December.

Community, Culture, Arts and Sport Committee Chair Councillor Andrew Fechner said the Ipswich Civic Centre will welcome many new shows this November and December.

“The Ipswich Civic Centre will welcome an exciting line-up of shows this November and December which will give you 60s, 70s and 80s flashbacks with the performance of The Best of the Bee Gees with Colin ‘Smiley’ Petersen,” Cr Fechner said.

“The award-winning production Animal Farm will round out the month of November, and Beauty and the Beast JR is the best show in town if you are looking for family friendly entertainment.”

Community, Culture, Arts and Sport Committee Deputy Chair Councillor Kate Kunzelmann said the best shows will be landing on Ipswich’s doorstep this silly season.

“The calibre of performances coming our way over the coming months is exciting. There’s really no need to travel out of Ipswich to catch a show and this line-up is exceptional,” Cr Kunzelmann said.

“There’s something in this programme to entertain all members of the family – the Beauty and The Beast Jnr show will be a wonderful school holiday outing for the kids.”
