Dive-In Movie
Springfield’s Robelle Lagoon will host the region’s first-ever dive-in movie event later this month, featuring the popular Disney movie, Finding Dory. A big screen will be set up poolside.

Insectarium at Workshops Rail Museum
Explore the microscopic world of insects in a fantastic photographic exhibition of Queensland Museum specimens. Come face to face with colourful insects with hands on insect activities.
See images of the iconic Dodd insect collection – where art meets science; get up close to insects from the Queensland Museum collection; see live stick insects and sort their insect eggs from their frass (stick insect poo); create your own butterfly that flutters when you move; be an insect artist! Examine insects up close then draw and colour them; match the butterfly wings to create amazing butterfly pictures; see microscopic images of insects in 3D.

Race ya mate
Race Ya Mate events are to cater for any individuals who wish to race there vehicles down the 1/4 mile . Entry is on the day at the gate.

Viewing a photograph from the past, or holding an object of historical significance, can spark interest, emotion and dialogue. But, when a unique personal connection is established between an object and an individual, it has the power to stir poignant memories and promote a deeper understanding and knowledge of times gone by.
This is my heritage explores the profound connection that objects have to family, country and culture through the personal memories and experiences of 12 of Queensland’s Indigenous artists and educators..
