A pair of EA-18G Growler fast jets from Number 6 Squadron, based at RAAF Base Amberley, will conduct low altitude initial and pitch training on Friday, 28 August between 12pm and 12.30pm.

The Air Force advises that the date and time for this activity are subject to change, subject to weather and operational availability.

The EA-18G Growler is an electronic attack aircraft. It is capable of disrupting, deceiving or denying a broad range of military electronic systems, including radars and communications.

Australia recently expanded its partnership with the United States to develop the Next Generation Jammer system for the EA-18G Growler.
