Outdoor movie at Brookwater

Bring a blanket and enjoy the first-ever outdoor moving screening at Brookwater. An afternoon of free family fun and activities is planned, finishing with a screening of the Disney movie Cars 3. parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. All ages and abilities can go along and run the 5km course. Please register before your first run. Bring a printed copy of your barcode so you can get your time. You are also welcome to grab a coffee in a local cafe with the parkrunners afterwards.

ANZAC: Photographs by Laurence Aberhart

ANZAC is the result of acclaimed New Zealand photographer Laurence Aberhart’s thirty year journey photographing World War One Memorials across New Zealand and Australia.

Focusing on the lone ‘digger’ memorials Aberhart’s photographs chart a seemingly simple pathway through the landscapes of these two nations, reflecting the scale the conflict had on these regions.

This exhibition is presented to coincide with the centenary anniversary of the end of the First World War.
