2. Christmas Twilight Markets

Christmas Twilight Markets offer an exciting outdoor family experience. Packed full with handmade art/craft, fashion and gift stalls just in time for Christmas. There will be an array of food trucks that the whole family will enjoy. Enjoy live entertainment, a kids craft station, face painting and a petting zoo, as well as plenty of Christmas cheer to go around.

3. Free Sensory Cinema Day

Join us for a screening of The Star: The Story of the First Christmas (PG | 1hr 26min), a heartwarming 3D-animation comedy adventure that retells the first Christmas story from the perspective of a group of heroic animals led by a small but brave donkey.

4. kids' Christmas Party

CSI and River 94.9 are hosting a party and Christmas Giving Tree which will proudly donate to the North Ipswich Conference of St Vincent de Paul. Gifts can be dropped up any time leading up to the party, which will have face painting, ice-cream, live entertainment, raffles, balloons, games, and a visit from Santa.

5. Adelina Martinez Quartet

In quartet mode, Adelina is joined by three of her closest friends and musical collaborators. Together they explore a repertoire of blues and jazz favourites, Latin American folk tunes, original compositions and quirky arrangements. Old tunes become energised with new meaning as Charles Hill (drums), Samuel Treby (double bass) and Meg Burstow (piano) share their joy and expertise in making music together.

6. The Greggles

With the Vocals and Guitar of GBass combined with the Drums and Vocals of Habib these two claim they’ll have the place rocking. It’s a fairly late start, so be pop on your dancing shoes and dust off the vocal chords.

7. Springfield Markets

It’s the last market for 2017 at Robelle Domain Parklands, Sprinfield Central. The organisers say it’s a great way to celebrate the first Friday of every month, with a splash in the lagoon, a browse of local talented artists and crafters, and an opportunity to enjoy dinner with family and friends from the food trucks. There are also homewares and multicultural stalls.

8. Dancing Around the World

Be prepared for a fabulous show full of entertainment and high quality performances bound to get everyone excited – including those of the male persuasion.  Showcasing all our amazing PPDCians from gorgeous little 2-year-olds to fabulous Adult dancers in an event that will capture your inner child and make you wish you were up there dancing with them. 9. Fully Committed and 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche

Two crazy comedies complete a bumper 2017 for Ipswich Little Theatre. Directed by father and daughter combination Shane and Kate Mallory, Fully Committed and 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche promise audiences fun and laughter at the unique and intimate Incinerator Theatre in Burley Griffin Drive.

Fully Committed follows a day in the life of Sam, an out-of-work actor, who mans the reservation line of Manhattan’s number one restaurant. Experienced, well known ILT actor, Shane Mallory takes on forty roles in this hilarious and frantic one man show.

5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche is set in 1956 where the charming widows of the Susan B Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein meet for their annual bake off. This award winning Off- Broadway smash hit play took America and then Brisbane by storm! If you missed it in Brisbane, now is your chance to attend the annual Quiche Breakfast.
