1. Great Barrier Reef Photographic Display

Great Barrier Reef features 20 stunning images of the reef and its inhabitants. Its images are by award-winning Queensland Museum photographer Gary Cranitch, taken over a four-year period in which he logged more than 500 reef dives.

The images featured in the exhibition are highlights from The Great Barrier Reef book published by Queensland Museum that comprise of more than 1000 full colour images and illustrations curated by Queensland Museum scientists.

2. Pamper with a Purpose

High Tea and Symposium. Listen to guest speakers addressing violence against women and children whilst enjoying a high tea, raffles, and market and information stalls.

3. Didgeridoo Jam

Come in and have a jam or bring a blanket and relax, kick back and listen to a mix of instruments combined with the Didgeridoo. They are a didgeridoo community with a unique gathering of instruments surrounded by gum trees and friendly wildlife.

WHEN: Every first Thursday night of the month from 7pn – 10pm.

4. Halloween kids party

A Halloween Kids Night for the whole family! Everyone is invited to dress up in spooky Halloween costumes and come along for a night of FREE fun. There will be different kids crafts, fun games to play and prizes to be won. Best of all, a safe place for the kids to “TRICK OR TREAT” . We will have a number of trick or treat doors to knock on, or door bells to ring. Light refreshments will also be provided. Booking is highly recommended so your child does not miss out!

5. Halloween Tea Party

They invite you to their Spooky Tea House for some Halloween treats. Suitable for all ages. An eery fog creeps across their floors and cascades down the front steps to greet you as you enter their Halloween Treat Cafe.

Present your ticket to the potion master and collect your Creepy Cupcakes and Potion Lab spiders with extra tricks, like Lollipops and Sour worms. Wear your favourite Costume and trick or treat them for your goodie bag.

Music will be on and their Monster High Cosplay crew will be ready to dance along with you. Get your potion drink at the Lab, Cupcake and Trick or treat Goodies Bag.

6. Celebrating Cultures at Kindy

Come and join us with your children for a fun afternoon at C&K Kruger Community Kindy. We’ll have lots of children’s activities and information for parents about kindergarten and prep. This is part of the Queensland Government’s ‘Celebrating Multicultural Queensland’ program. Bring your family to take part in a play-based learning experience at the kindergarten and talk to educators about the importance of kindergarten. There will be food and drinks available, a Tribal Voices Drumming Circle and Sharron Lindh from Indigenous Insights. See you there!

7. seeds - Redbank Plains - Petal Play

Use flowers, seed pods, leaves and sticks to make interesting patterns and designs.
SEEDS is an early literacy program developed by Ipswich Libraries and supported by Mission Australia Communities for Children. Suitable for ages 0-6 years.
Please book a ticket for each child attending. Adults do not need a ticket but will be required to stay and supervise.

8. Graveyard Rave & Maze

We welcome everyone, to join us on the 30th of October from 5pm-7pm for our Halloween Event! ??

10. jigsaw

Join us at our See It First Advance Screening of JIGSAW this Halloween. Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise.
