Customer Service staff will now be on hand to help you pay your rates, register your dog or request property searches at Springfield Central Library, thanks to the new Council Connect kiosk, which provides access to a range of council services.
Council’s Community, Cultural and Economic Development General Manager Ben Pole said the new Council Connect service point would be a welcome addition to Springfield Central library.
“The new Council Connect service will provide a convenient solution to customers at one of our most popular library branches,” Mr Pole said.
“The boost to customer service and access to council services at the library will see added benefits to our community.”
The one-stop shop at Springfield Central Library will give residents access to a wide range of council services, including:
- Rates Enquiries and Payments
- Dog Registrations
- Park Venue Enquiries
- Parking Infringements
- Ipswich Waste Enquiries
- Licences and Renewals
- Property Searches
- Planning and Development Applications
- Name and Address Searches
Another Council Connect service point will also be set up at Rosewood Library when it opens in early 2020.
