To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing (July 20, 1969), the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is hosting a youth astronomy seminar and stargazing event at its Springfield campus.
Aspiring astronomers will hear from leading planetary scientist Dr Katarina Miljkovic, who leads the only Australian research group that is working on the InSight mission currently active on Mars.
Dr Miljkovic will share her career journey and answer questions about the exciting world of space.
