This three volume series will engage the ‘reader’ in meaningful conversations about respect, religion and cultural diversity. The Living Books will tell the stories about their lives and how they came to be in Australia. Volume 3: Joan Winter: the daughter of a WWII Jewish refugee. Joan is a passionate human rights advocate and cross cultural curator who works tirelessly to support refugees and disenfranchised minorities. Presented in partnership with Anglicare Southern Queensland.
