Soak in the serenity as nature transitions from day to night.
Ipswich City Council’s late afternoon bushwalk will take you through a range of interesting habitats and landscape features, to arrive at a lookout near White Rock. Bring snacks to enjoy as you watch the full moon rise, before heading back along the twilight trail as night falls.
Places strictly limited, book early to avoid disappointment. Headlamps provided.
One child per adult guardian, minimum age 8. All participants must of a fitness level to complete a three-and-a-half hour bushwalk.
Is this activity suitable for me?
- Commence 5:30pm conclusion 9.30pm
- This walk is expected to take about three-and-a-half hours
- Bring water and snacks
- The walk is an unsealed bush track of moderate difficulty and includes rocky, loose and sloping surfaces
- The return walk will be after dark (headlamps provided)
- This walk requires a reasonable level of fitness and good balance
- Wildlife including snakes may be encountered on this walk
