Scale-free network: Micro Draw Workshops
See the world in a whole new way! Ipswich Art Gallery will be home to Scale Free Network’s exciting art-science laboratory. Microscope drawing workshops combine a lesson in science, art and mathematics inspired by the microscopic world.
Using the microscopes supplied, students look at slides and live samples from different areas of scientific research such as microbiology, geology, water ecology, parasitology and botany as well as their own special objects. They then create works of art. This is for students in Years 3-10. Bookings are usually made by teachers and are essential.
