Heart and Soul Festival returns to South Ripley

House Rules winners Luke and Cody will be at the festival.

NOTE: The Heart and Soul Festival has been postponed to 24 November, due to wet weather forecast

The Heart and Soul Festival at Providence South Ripley will return bigger and better on Saturday, October 6 (postponed to 24 November) from 3pm to 8pm.

Exciting new features are planned for this year’s festival, with a major highlight to be a visit from House Rules winners Luke and Cody.

The pair will host a home design and construction workshop at 3.15pm and again at 5.15pm.

Other attractions include live music, a fashion parade, children’s workshops, food trucks, a children’s dance party and fireworks.

The free festival is Providence’s largest community event and is hosted by Providence Community Group volunteers.

Providence project director Michael Khan said the event was a credit to the volunteers.

“It’s fantastic to see a community-led festival of this scale happening at Providence,” he said.

“A core Providence value is ‘creating community’ and we want to ensure that as a population in Providence grows, so does the sense of belonging to somewhere truly special.”

Heart and Soul Festival will be held beside the Splash ‘n’ Play water park and adventure playground.
