Inflatable fun park coming to Ipswich for school holidays

Australia’s biggest inflatable fun park is coming to Ipswich.

The Inflatable Factory will pop-up at Springfield Central on the corner of Southern Cross Circuit and Sirius Drive these school holidays.

It will be open 9am to 4pm daily from 8 April to 22 April.

Whether you want to be a human hamster on the Zorb Ball Ramp, dare to fly on the giant 12m high Superman Slide or take on the Zongo Bongo Mechanical Wipeout Ride, the park has you covered.

There will also be a 20m long obstacle course, Bubble Soccer arena and mechanical bull.

The Inflatable Factory’s Greg Smith said community demand was behind the company’s decision to come to Ipswich.

“We’ve been popping up around Brisbane for the last two years during the school holiday period,” he said.

“Normally we have been just setting up to the north and south of Brisbane but we have had so much support from the Ipswich area with people driving great distances to attend our events that we really wanted to find a place to set up in their backyard.

“We have had so many people asking us if we can bring the theme park to Ipswich so it’s really pleasing to be able to do that.”

Mr Smith said affordability was a major focus for the park, with two hours of unlimited access for people aged five and over (including adults) costing $19. Two hours access for children aged four and under costs $9.

There is a “safe zone” for young children to enjoy and family passes are also available. Spectators can view free of charge.

“We’ve got about 20 different attractions which means there is something for everyone, young and old,” Mr Smith said.

“The kids will definitely sleep well after a visit to the park and it’s a great way to encourage them to get outside and be active over the school holidays.”

As well as the inflatable attractions, snack food and drinks will be available onsite.
