Ipswich joined together to put a stop to domestic and family violence

Last week Ipswich joined together in d’Arcy Doyle Place to pay their respects and remember the victims of domestic and family violence.

The vigil included a march from Tulmur place to d’Arcy Doyle Place as well as a candle lighting ceremony to finish.

Some of the guest speakers on the night included Mayor Teresa Harding, Chair of the Alison Baden-Clay Foundation Vanessa Fowler, Amie Carrington CEO of the Domestic Violence Action Centre and Acting Superintendent Doug McDonald of the Queensland Police Service.
