Baby Rhyme Time
Share rhymes, songs, and stories that support your baby’s early language learning, communication and social skills. Meet other parents in a fun and safe environment. This is a four week program that runs for 30 minutes each week. Program involves attendance at all 4 sessions.

Makerspace: Distinct Prints
Distinct PrintsSimple Textile Art – Experience an introduction to the basics of screen printing with local artist and textile printer, Bec Lewis. Learn Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
This three week course will take you through learning the basics of Microsoft Office. Understand how to create documents, spreadsheets and fancy slide shows using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Basic computer skills are required.
Week 1: Writing with Word, includes
- Exploring different templates
- Discovering a variety of text styles
- Inserting tables, pictures and shapes
- Saving and exporting documents

Scale-free network: Micro Draw Workshops
See the world in a whole new way! Ipswich Art Gallery will be home to Scale Free Network’s exciting art-science laboratory. Microscope drawing workshops combine a lesson in science, art and mathematics inspired by the microscopic world.
Using the microscopes supplied, students look at slides and live samples from different areas of scientific research such as microbiology, geology, water ecology, parasitology and botany as well as their own special objects. They then create works of art. This is for students in Years 3-10. Bookings are usually made by teachers and are essential.

ANZAC is the result of acclaimed New Zealand photographer Laurence Aberhart’s thirty year journey photographing World War One Memorials across New Zealand and Australia.
Focusing on the lone ‘digger’ memorials Aberhart’s photographs chart a seemingly simple pathway through the landscapes of these two nations, reflecting the scale the conflict had on these regions.
This exhibition is presented to coincide with the centenary anniversary of the end of the First World War.
