Concreting for the zero depth water play area in the new Nicholas St precinct civic plaza has been completed.
Work is continuing on the installation of pavers and planter walls across the plaza.
The roof and framing for the deck bar are now complete, with walls and glazing next to be installed.
Installation of disability access and walkway extension between the civic plaza and the Bradfield Bridge is ongoing.

For crews working on the new library, installation of internal walls and sheeting is continuing while work on feature screening and planter walls are taking place outside the building.
Flooring on level three of the new Ipswich City Council administration building is now concreted with crews preparing to start work on level four.
Energex will be undertaking electrical upgrade works in the Nicholas Street car park between Friday, 22 May and Sunday, 24 May.
The car park is expected to be open and operating as normal from Monday, 25 May.
There are currently about 220 people working across the Nicholas St redevelopment.

The Nicholas St redevelopment is a $250 million council project focused on revitalising the heart of Ipswich.
It includes construction of a new council administration building, library and civic plaza as well as new retail, restaurant, recreation and entertainment precincts.
The restoration of the Commonwealth Hotel on Union Place, commonly known as Murphy’s Pub, is also being progressed as part of the redevelopment.
