The number of workers onsite across the Nicholas St redevelopment in Ipswich Central has reached its highest mark yet.
There are currently 210 people working to deliver the new Ipswich City Council administration building, new Ipswich Library and civic plaza.
In the past week, the external framework used by crews to access the emerging levels of the new administration building has reached level six.
Concreting is due to be poured to form the level three floor.

The internal layout of the library continues to take shape as more walls and ceilings are framed and sheeted.
Framing in the library ceiling is nearing completion. Air-conditioning and electrical services are also being installed.
The paving in the civic plaza is now underway in the area immediately outside the library.
This will be a continuation of the paving currently in Nicholas Street.

Work has started on the installation of the steel structure in the deck bar located in the former Woolworths loading dock.
The next lot of concrete was poured in the area where the zero depth water play area jets are located.
Also this week, some short-term changes took place in the car park. From Monday, 27 April, level six has been closed for about three weeks. Additionally, the exits on level five are temporarily reduced to one.
This is to allow for weight-bearing props to be installed for the civic plaza concrete pour.
