Where to go in Ipswich’s village precincts

Three new way-finding guides will highlight the best places to go in Ipswich’s CBD, Rosewood and Springfield.

The guides, which will be out next month, will complement the annual Discover Ipswich magazine and showcase more than 140 businesses and council events in a handy, compact format.

Robelle Domain is one of Springfield’s main attractions, with its waterpark, playground and Orion Lagoon

General Manager of Ipswich City Council’s Community, Cultural and Economic Development Department, Ben Pole, said the project celebrated what makes different parts of Ipswich unique.

“It provides a quick reference guide for visitors to the city, as well as a reminder to locals that there is plenty to do in their own backyard,” Mr Pole said.

“With over 1.8 million visitors to the city last year, it’s important that these guides encompass all the things to see, do and eat in each of these precincts.”

The guides will be available at 30 brochure distribution points across the city, including the Visitor Information Centre, Ipswich Libraries, local hotels and cafes.
