Ripley Valley Basketball is looking for local people who might be interested in being on the group’s management committee.

Positions include president, secretary and treasurer roles plus coaches, managers, and support volunteers.

If you’ve never volunteered before or if you’ve never been on a management committee before and you aren’t sure what it means, this meeting is especially for you.

You don’t even need to know that much about basketball, you might be great at websites, or you really know how to balance the books or you a bit of a social media guru or you have always wanted to be a coach, it is the diverse set of skill sets that create a club.

For those of you who have witnessed the great success the Ripley Valley Football Club has had over the past year, it all started with a meeting just like this, with people who were passionate about the game and/or the community.

And don’t forget, there are so many volunteering benefits, it connects you to others, it can advance your career and it brings fun and fulfillment to your life.

Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place.
