It’s time to clean out the spare room or under the house as Ipswich City Council’s free large item kerbside collection begins on 17 January 2022 for one week from Ashwell to Woolshed.
Growth, Waste and Infrastructure Committee Chairperson Mayor Teresa Harding said council’s collection teams will be moving though each Ipswich suburb over the next 20 weeks passing about 86,603 households.
“This important collection service is kicking off in Rosewood and surrounds, ensuring residents are able to dispose of items that are too large for the wheelie bin,” Mayor Harding said.
“I would encourage you to check the calendar on council’s website so you know when council will be coming to your suburb.”
