Get ready for the Ipswich business boom at this week’s Expo

Fresh opportunities to grow your business will be front and centre at the 2022 Business Expo Ipswich on Thursday 9 June at the Ipswich Showgrounds.

Economic and Industry Development Committee Chairperson Councillor Nicole Jonic said she encouraged people to attend the free one-day event.

“The Expo is the place to be if you do business in Ipswich or would like to do business in Ipswich. It promises to be a packed day of learning and networking,” Cr Jonic said.

“There is a new layout at the event this year and so much on offer including ‘mini marketing audits’, special guest speakers and more.

“By coming to the 2022 Business Expo Ipswich you will discover the latest products, trends and local offerings that you might not even know are in our region.

“This expo can connect you with new local high-quality suppliers and partners, give you an insight to other businesses in your sector and guide you on working with all three levels of government.

“It is your chance to ask questions and get to know local business leaders and their teams.”

Discover some of Ipswich’s best businesses and experiences on offer to all business owners at the 2022 Business Expo Ipswich.

It is an opportunity to connect with likeminded business owners and check out some of the 9,000 businesses currently operating in Ipswich. If you are a business that wants to be profitable, grow or streamline then this is the place to showcase your business.

Exhibition space for the event is limited, and business owners are encouraged to book early via the Facebook event or at businessexpoipswich.com.au.

Councillor Jonic said the day also included a ‘Business After 5’ networking event with Reload Media’s Alex McCann as a guest speaker who will give a presentation on Shopify.

“Leveraging your business using online platforms is an important topic for all local businesses in this digital age,” Cr Jonic said.

“Even if you do not own your own business, I would encourage you to come along to this free showcase and see just what is on offer right here in your own backyard.”

Ipswich City Council is partnering with the Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce to provide this event for local businesses.
