Your favourite restaurants are still open, and are a great alternative to braving the crowds at Woolies and Coles.
While there are many options available on Menulog and Uber Eats, these top rated restaurants are among the food options upping the takeaway game in Ipswich.
Not all are available for delivery at the moment, but most can be pre-ordered and picked up from the venue – remember to minimise contact and use a card to tap and go when you’re doing your pick up.
Bakehouse Steakhouse
Popular steak restaurant Bakehouse Steakhouse has launched Bakehouse Buns, a takeaway range available at the same times the restaurant is open.
On the menu is their Wagyu cheeseburger, Bakehouse Burger, Steakhouse Sandwich, fries and onion rings.
Coming soon on the menu is a blue cheese and bacon burger, southern fried chicken burger, hotdog and a vegan hotdog.
They are also offering their full Bakehouse Steakhouse menu for takeaway.

You can order takeaway food from Ballistic Springfield, Brewery Bar and Kitchen, and they are setting up online ordering.
Ballistic is also offering beer delivery for $5 within a 5km radius of the Springfield venue for orders $70 and more and will soon offer wine and spirits delivery.
On the menu is steak, crispy fried chicken burgers, house made chicken parma, beer battered frickles and rings as well as pizza.

At the moment you can order takeaway gourmet Ungermann Brothers ice cream through Uber Eats and Menulog.
They also offer take-home packs in-store so you can tuck into the new salted caramel, chocolate and potato chip ice cream in the comfort of your own home.
There’s also a nice little park right next to the Ipswich store which is a great location to sit and eat or drink a handcrafted gourmet milkshake while you’re maintaining social distance.
Ungermanns are introducing new flavours and have added carrot cake to their list which includes: strawberry balsamic, dark chocolate and mandarin, pumpkin seed, dutch spice, lavender honeycomb, roasted garlic, peanut butter, vanilla bean, fairy-bread, lime and coconut, liqourice and fennel, coffee and cardamom liquor, lemon lime bitters sorbet, as well as salted caramel with bacon and pecan.
