Division 1 Councillor Sheila Ireland said the park is not only safer but also lighter and brighter than ever.

“The park not only looks great, but the new shelter lighting should address some of the community safety concerns and make the park safer and more enjoyable for our community,” Cr Sheila Ireland said.

“We acknowledge that the community wish to see more work done on this park and this is the first step.

“We will continue to advocate for additional work to be done in the future.”

“I welcome residents to come and see the new park and bring their children to try out the upgraded play equipment and furniture,” Cr Madsen said.

“I can’t wait to see families and friends enjoying the park and all it has to offer our community.”
