Join ABC Radio Brisbane for Ipswich broadcast

A spotlight will be shone on the City of Ipswich, its people and opportunities when ABC Radio Brisbane stops by on Thursday, 6 February for a live all-day broadcast event.

ABC Radio Brisbane will broadcast from innovation hub Fire Station 101 on at 101 Limestone Street from 5am to 5pm.

The Hello Ipswich event is part of a series of broadcasts ABC Radio Brisbane is holding across the south-east this year with Ipswich the first cab off the rank.

It all begins with Craig Zonca and Loretta Ryan for Breakfast followed by Rebecca Levingston for Mornings, Kat Feeney for Afternoons and Steve Austin for Drive.

Community members are welcome to drop by and say hello.

As part of the event, ABC Radio Brisbane has teamed up with the Ipswich Visitor Information Centre to conduct a heritage tour on 6 February at 9.15am.

The tour will take in architectural influences, heritage buildings, homes and sites with a local guide and ABC Radio Brisbane presenters.

Locations will include St Mary’s Catholic Church, Queens Park, the old Ipswich Post Office, Old Town Hall and Ipswich Girls Grammar School.
