Join in the fun with best-selling children’s author Deano Yipadee

It’s not too late to book a spot at Ipswich Libraries’ free Children’s Book Week events with international best-selling children’s author and musician Deano Yipadee.

Yipadee will lead two Children’s Book Week sessions filled with stories, music and laughter.

The sessions are as follows on Saturday, 17 August:

  • 10am-11am, Ipswich Central Library
  • 1pm-2pm, Springfield Central Library

Yipadee has topped the Australian, UK and New Zealand children’s best-sellers charts on numerous occasions.

His debut book Jingle Bells, Rudolph Smells sold out in three print runs in Australia three week before Christmas while Nee Naw The Little Fire Engine spent three consecutive months in the best-seller charts.

Children’s Book Week 2019 runs from 17 to 23 August as a celebration of reading. This year’s theme is ‘My Secret Power’.

Yipadee’s sessions with Ipswich Libraries are suitable for children aged up to eight.
