Learn about Owls with Dr Robert Clemens
The BirdLife Powerful Owl project would like to invite you along from 9:30 to 11:30am for a presentation on Owl identification, biology, & ecology. For those who would like to become volunteer citizen scientists, the second hour will provide more details on the project, allow participants to get permits, sign-up formally, and to go over how we will be monitoring Powerful Owls in 2019. Participants are welcome to just come and go during the break at 10:30.

parkrun
parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. All ages and abilities can go along and run the 5km course. Please register before your first run. Bring a printed copy of your barcode so you can get your time. You are also welcome to grab a coffee in a local cafe with the parkrunners afterwards.
