Imperial Russian Ballet – Swan Lake
Friday 11 October

The Imperial Russian Ballet Company returns to Australia with Swan Lake. The masterpiece ballet is presented in two acts and follows the original storyline with subtle revisions.

Formed in 1994, the Imperial Russian Ballet Company is made up of 40 dancers from Russia’s major ballet schools and is headed by Bolshoi Theatre soloist Gediminas Taranda.

Celebrate emerging musical talent from Ipswich and discover the next pop sensation, rock legend, country superstar or singing-song writing prodigy.

Enjoy performances from guitarist Ethan Mansfield, singer Rebekah Qleibo and singer-songwriter Jarrad Wrigley.

Lucky Starr

Lucky Starr is one of the founding members of the Australian Pop Music Industry. A regular on television shows such as Bandstand, the former Six O’clock Rock host also made regular appearances on Mavis Bramston, Revue 60 – 61, In Melbourne Tonight, Sing Sing Sing, plus many other entertainment shows.

In 1962 Lucky recorded a hit record “I’ve Been Everywhere“, which remains one of Australia’s all time favourites.

The Longest Minute

This Queensland Theatre, Debase Productions and JUTE Theatre Company co-production tells the story of a girl born into a family of rugby league fanatics.

Set against the backdrop of the NQ Cowboys’ 2015 NRL Grand Final win, the performance is about family, football and determination to succeed against the odds.

Groove & Grape featuring Eden Armstrong Quintet
Friday 4 October

Rooted in the effervescent sound of swinging bepop, Eden Armstrong is joined by four fantastic musicians on their respective instruments to present a night of wonderful music.

Formulating a unique dynamic, the Eden Armstrong Quintet combines the trumpet and baritone saxophone, supported by a swinging rhythm section.
