The installation of external glass for the new Ipswich Library in the Nicholas St precinct is all but complete.
Crews on the Nicholas St redevelopment continue to make good progress with about 160 workers across the site.
In the past week, as well as installing the external glazing, crews working on the library started installation of the full-height wall sheeting and ceiling framing.
External façade works are also continuing.
Progress is made inside the new library.
Crews working on the new Ipswich City Council administration building have poured concrete for the first floor and have shifted focus to level two.
The lift core, which is currently the tallest part of the building, is expected to reach level 5 shortly.
The new civic plaza is also continuing to emerge with planter boxes being installed and preparations being made for the post-Easter arrival of water jets for the zero depth water play area.
Work continues on the new council administration building.
Structural steel work for an amenities building in the civic plaza space has also been installed.
Workers will take a short but well-earned break over Easter before returning on Monday, 20 April.
