1. Pasifika Spring Festival

A showcase of multicultural performances, food stalls, children’s activities, rides and sports clinics.

2. First Friday Fun

3. Rosewood Festival

Family Fun Day features a trolley dash, dog jumping, haybale scramble, markets, music and food stalls. Night makes way for Return to Happy Days, a trip back in time to the 50s, with food, rock and a licensed bar.

4. Fentons at The Ipswich Club

A familiar name has returned to the Ipswich food scene. Fenton Keogh is dishing up Friday tapas and drinks at The Ipswich Club.

5. Western Pride v Moreton Bay United

6. Salisbury in Spring

9. Willowbank Raceway Street Series

This 24th annual competition puts street legal cars and bikes to the test at Australia’s leading drag strip.

WHEN: Saturday 2 September, gates at 4pm, time trials from 4.30pm and racing from 7pm

COST: $50 for competitors, $20 for adults, $18 for students and under 14s free

10. Ipswich Parkrun

Step out for this timed 5km run and get in shape for Spring. Remember to wear comfy shoes, a hat and bring plenty of water.

11. StoryArts Festival
