Tap into Christmas at Tulmur Place

After two epic weekends in the brand new Tulmur Place, Nicholas Street Precinct, the pace isn’t slowing down any time soon, with international performers Those Tap Guys hitting the Tulmur stage Saturday night from 6pm.

The Saturday Sunset Session on 12 December, will include a pop-up bar from Four Hearts Brewing Company, Ungermann Brothers Ice Cream, burgers, fairy floss and a Limelight Cinema pop up from 5pm until 9pm.

Those Tap Guys will bring their raw energy to the stage with a dynamic combination of rhythm, acrobatics, dance and comedy routines from 6pm to 6.30pm.

DJ Gavs will hit the stage between 5pm and 6pm and again from 6.30pm so bring the family for a great night out.

On Saturday 19 December, the Ipswich City Orchestra will be on the Tulmur Stage with an evening of Christmas carols, along with local favourites, Four Hearts Brewing Company and Ungermann Brothers.

There are activities planned each day in Tulmur Place this week and next, including free school holidays activities from 9am to 11am on weekdays.

While visiting the Nicholas Street Precinct, there are several public artworks to discover including bronze fish trap sculptures, native animal sculptures and primary art piece, Standing.

Check out the new Ipswich Central Library which opened on Monday which includes an extensive collection along with advanced digital services and experiences.

The opening of Tulmur Place, two weeks ago, is a major milestone and the second stage of the $250 million council project, Nicholas Street Precinct, focusing on bringing the community together.
