Unlikely trio’s clever pet solution

Ipswich City Council carpenters Brett Tazelaar and Dane Turner are generally more comfortable with a claw hammer than being in front of a camera.

No such bother for their feline co-star Didga, who’s already a YouTube skateboarding sensation with plenty of cat-itude.

Together the terrific trio have starred in a series of DIY videos to inspire residents to keep their pets inside their property boundaries.

Keeping your cat in the yard not only protects them and the local wildlife, it also ensure they are not a nuisance to your neighbours.

Ipswich City Council has made a do-it-yourself guide and video to take you through the steps to create an enclosure for your cat.

Not only is it a requirement under council’s local laws, this cost effective solution will give your cat some time outside while keeping them secure and safe.

If you have a fiercely independent feline, don’t fear – this solution will stop your cat escaping without them having to be cooped up indoors 24/7.

Detailed instructions are on council's website
