Ipswich residents can meet former international cricketer Brett Lee at Springfield Rise at Spring Mountain this Sunday, 19 August when what has been dubbed Queensland’s Biggest House Warming Celebration is held.
The celebration is to mark the official opening of one of Queensland’s largest builder display villages.
The new display village at Springfield Rise at Spring Mountain showcases 45 homes by 22 builders.
It is a joint initiative by estate developer Lendlease and Master Builders Queensland.
Springfield Rise at Spring Mountain is one of the fastest growing areas in the Ipswich corridor.
As well as a visit by renowned pace-bowler Lee, the celebration from 11am to 3pm will include live entertainment and free children’s activities.
The display village has a cafe, alfresco dining deck with seating and shade, all-ages playground with slide, scramble net, spinner and cubby house plus an open grassed area.
Lendlease communities managing director Matthew Wallace said an innovative and interactive way-finding kiosk and Wi-Fi in the village would help home buyers find homes to suit their lifestyle and budget.
“The new display village showcases Queensland living at its best,” he said.
“This includes a wide range of slope responsive home designs to demonstrate the benefits of building on a slope and what to consider.
“Home buyers looking to build their dream home can preview the recent land release as well as compare designs, floor plans and lot sizes and ask questions about all aspects of purchasing and designing their new home.
“We look forward to showcasing the latest home designs and a new meeting place with cafe and green space that promotes and enhances the community and social connection.”
The display village is open 10am to 5pm, seven days a week, however individual display home opening times may vary.
Builders with homes on display are Plantantion Homes, Metricon Homes, Bella Qld Homes, Orbit Homes, Paradigm Homes, Callaway Homes, DC Living, Rivergum, Valcon Homes, Integra Homes, Stroud Homes, Nuvo Homes, Colossal Homes, Oracle Platinum Homes, GJ Gardner Homes, Steve Parcell Homes, Valeco Homes, Coral Homes, Simmonds Homes, Invision Homes, Calendron Homse and Hallmark Homes.
