1. DIGITAL SKETCH: Creative Drawing with Tablets

This single session course will teach you how you can draw digitally using a stylus and a tablet. Create works of art without the mess of watercolours, acrylics or oil paints. This session will use the Windows Ink sketching tools that are available on Windows 10.

2. leadership and empowerment coaching and mentoring

There are 3 events to be held through the year to provide FREE Coaching and Mentoring to Women. These events will give you the skills needed to empower you in many areas and give you essential leadership skills that will improve the quality of your life.

3. Ipswich nature centre

Ipswich Nature Centre features a range of Australian wildlife, lush landscaped gardens and exhibits that have been recreated to represent local bushland and flora communities.

4. Learn a craft

Make new friends, have a chat and learn a craft with the Queensland Country Woman’s Association West Moreton.

You name it and the group’s wonderful handcraft teachers can teach you.

6. Tribal Bellydancing

Learn the art of tribal bellydancing. This beautiful dance form is influenced by traditional dances from around the world.

8. Minecraft 1893

For all of you Minecraft aficionados! Drop-in and use the library’s PCs or bring your own device and build in the library’s world.

Mincraft 1893: Ipswich’s Great Flood is a chance to recreate the 1893 flood in the Ipswich CBD.

It’s Minecraft meets Picture Ipswich and is suitable for children 8+ years. Adults also welcome.

9. Russell Hinton at CSI

Sit back and relax as Russell Hinton performs a unique blend of American and Australian music, ranging from beautiful ballads to the latest in country rock.

Russell Hinton has been performing professionally as a guitarist and vocalist for more than 35 years, both as a solo artist and lead guitarist for Australia’s most successful Country Band – Bullamakanka.

He covers such artists as Ronan Keating, Dire Straits, Roy Orbison, Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Eagles, Kenny Rogers, Eric Clapton, John Williamson, and of course – Bullamakanka.

10. EARLY IPSWICH: PHOTOGRAPHS AND PRINTS

Get a feel for what Ipswich was like in the mid to late 1800s through this selection of printed cards, lithographs and early panoramic photography. The exhibition captures an emergent and prosperous town, driven by industry and its rail yards, as well as significant landmarks from Ipswich and its surrounds.
