This home movie was made in Ipswich of the Anzac Day march held in 1937. The caption for the movie on Picture Ipswich said the Anzac Day march down Brisbane Street, beside St Paul’s Anglican Church, the Queensland Times building and F Goleby & Sons. Picture Ipswich do not know who made the video.

Anzac Day is celebrated on 25 April each year being a day of remembrance of the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.

Anzac Day gives Australians an opportunity to remember all of those who have ever served for Australia and to pay tribute to all military members past and present.
