On the longest day of the year, Summer Solstice, the sun and moon will share the sky for around half an hour. Join a guided bushwalk to observe this phenomenon from a lookout high over White Rock.

Raise Your Glass – The Aust Pink Show – Australia’s best and most spectacular “Ultimate” P!nk show!

The Performer behind ‘Raise Your Glass” is Mount Isa born singer and musician Kim Boath. Kim is a powerful performer in her own right; accomplished and versatile with an outstanding vocal talent.  Kim is complimented by Australia’s best musicians. The “Raise Your Glass” band are consummate professionals, all with International touring experience.

parkrun

parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. All ages and abilities can go along and run the 5km course. Please register before your first run. Bring a printed copy of your barcode so you can get your time. You are also welcome to grab a coffee in a local cafe with the parkrunners afterwards.

See the diversity and skill of local Ipswich artists in this display featuring works that have been acquired for the Ipswich Art Gallery Collection.

Artists featured are Gary Abkin, Tim Acutt, Chenaya Bancroft-Davis, Annie Clarke, Donna Davis, Charmaine Davis, Mieke den Otter, Colleen Gardener, Angela Geertsma, Sally Harrison, Lizzett Kim, Wayne McDonnell, Sharon McKenzie, Deb Mostert, Kate Roberts, Andrew Spark and Helen Vere. Many of the pieces displayed have been acquired through the Ipswich Art Awards over the past 15 years and are shown in conjunction with this year’s Ipswich Festival.
