Pizza is one food that most families can agree on when it comes to dinner options.  So we’ve done the rounds and found six of the best places that are offering gourmet pizzas for takeaway.

From creations such as pear and prosciutto to popcorn chicken and award-winning camel milk feta pizzas this list will have you salivating!

Summer Land Camels Pizza

Summer Land Camels recently launched these $20 gourmet beauties available on Friday nights.

Made on a delicious 12 inch sourdough base, the gourmet pizzas are cooked to perfection and topped with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Flavours:

Meat Lovers – mild salami, sliced ham, chorizo, spiced mince, fresh mushrooms, Kalamata olives, and camel milk cheddar.

Moroccan – tenderly spiced fillet strips, freshly picked mint, drizzled with camel milk fromage blanc

Persian Delight – award-winning Perisan camel milk feta and camel milk cheddar, drizzled with freshly made basil pesto.

Mediterranian – grilled camel milk haloumi, roasted capsicum, Kalamata olives, and camel milk cheddar.

Chorizo – grilled chorizo, caramelised onion, Persian camel milk feta, camel milk cheddar, sprinkled with fresh rocket leaves

Hawaiian –  juicy pineapple, sliced ham and camel milk cheddar.

Margherita –  sweet Heirloom tomatoes, freshly picked basil and camel milk cheddar.

Add on a tub of their award-winning Camel Milk gelato for $16 and you’ve got Friday night’s dinner and dessert sorted.

Heisenberg Haus

Heisenberg Haus

The German restaurant in Ipswich’s Top of Town recently started making gourmet traditional Neopolitan-style pizzas.

These hand-made beauties are created by mum and dad Heisenberg who have trained at the True Neapoliitan Pizza Association and cooked in a wood fired pizza oven with house-made dough and local produce.

Heisenberg Haus pizzas now available from 5pm Wednesday to Sundays.

Flavours:

Not the Wurst – bratwurst, cheese kransky, frankfurter, fior di latte, San Marzano tomatoes, smokey BBQ sauce and German mustard.

Margherita – San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, basil and extra virgin olive oil.

Marinara – San Marzano tomatoes, oregano, garlic and extra virgin olive oil.

Diavola Devil’s Pizza – San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, hot salami, extra virgin olive oil infused with chilli.

Quattro Formaggi Four Cheese – Fior di latte, taleggio, strachhini, grana padano).

Vegetarian – San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, red onion, zucchini, capsicum, basil, mushrooms and olives.

Salami – San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte and mild salami, pork and fennel sausage.

Pepperoni – San Marzano tomatoes, pepperoni, fior di latte.

No alterations to toppings are allowed though.

Pumpyard pizza

The Pumpyard has beefed up it’s takeaway menu with new pizzas flavours.

These gourmet delights use top quality ingredients in surprising and delicious combinations.

Flavours:

Antipasto – baby spinach, red onion, zucchini, eggplant, feta, pine nuts, napoli, mozzarella.

Fat Pig – salami, prosciutto, bacon, chorizo, olives, buffalo, mozzarella, napoli.

The Capo – roast peppers, olives, pork and fennel sausage, ground beef, nduja sausage, calabrasi, napoli and mozzarella.

Prosciutto and Pear – prosciutto, fresh pear, taleggio, red onion, napoli, rocket, mozzarella.

Margherita – heirloom tomato, mozzarella, basil, napoli.

Quattro Fromage – taleggio, blue cheese, mozzarella, smoked mozzarella, garlic, basil.

Forest Mushroom – seasonal mushrooms, Gorgonzola, oregano, garlic

Bacon Cheeseburger – double smoked bacon, ground beef, red onion, smokey BBQ sauce, mozzarella, garlic aioli swirl.

All pizzas are $16 or you can get a pizza and two takeaway beers for $25.

PA Hotel

PA Pizza

The Prince Alfred Hotel has great value pizzas on offer.

Check out their ham and pineapple with ham, caramelised onion, pineapple and mozzarella with napoli sauce.

There’s also pepperoni, with diced tomato, basil pesto and mozzarella on napoli sauce.

And meatlover with beef, bacon, pepperoni, chicken and mozzarella on a BBQ sauce base.

Pizzas are $14.95 each and can be delivered or picked up, phone 3282 6288 to order.

Bakehouse Steakhouse

Bakehouse Steakhouse are offering pizzas that you can pick up to cook at home, or you can have them cooked for you.

Try popcorn chicken, candied bacon and BBQ sauce or Wagyu sausage, caramelised onion and tomato sauce for $12 cook at home or $16 cooked for you.

Homage Restaurant

Homage - Sirloin pizza

The chef hat winning Homage Restaurant have this delicious coal-roasted sirloin pizza on the menu.  It comes with three cheeses and red onion.

Other flavours include:

Wood roasted lamb with roasted red peppers, eggplant and tzatziki; and

Mushroom with globe artichoke, bocconcini and fresh herbs.
